- Operating Support
The Trustee will consider all qualified applications received from organizations that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). If you are a 509 (a)(3) Supporting Organization, please be prepared to provide additional information. Grants are not made to support individuals.
Grant Cycle and Deadline Information:
Applications must be received by August 31st. Organizations selected to receive funding will be notified by February of the following year.
Grant proposals are evaluated on the basis of a demonstrated need for the project; clearly stated objectives and a well-developed plan for achieving them; evidence of the organization’s ability to manage, fund and sustain the project; and appropriateness to the interests of the Trust.
Recipients of grants are expected to submit a report on the expenditure of the funds and an evaluation of the project.
The average grant size is between $5,000 to $25,000.
