About the Foundation
The Camp-Younts Foundation was established in 1955 by Mrs. Willie Camp Younts and Charles Rolphi Younts.
Guidelines
Funding Priorities:
The Foundation supports organizations with a focus on helping poor and needy people. Religious, educational, cultural or civic organizations with outreach programs to needy persons may be considered. Organizations supported during the lifetime of the donors will be given preference.
Geographic Focus:
Giving is primarily in Metro Atlanta, Georgia and Virginia.
Funding Priorities:
In Georgia, only operating and non-capital grants will be considered.
Eligibility Requirements:
The Trustees will consider all qualified applications received from organizations in Metro Atlanta, Georgia that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). If you are a 509 (a)(3) Supporting Organization, please be prepared to provide additional information. Grants are not made to support individuals. Organizations outside Metro Atlanta that wish to be considered should mail requests to P.O. Box 813, Franklin, VA 23851.
Grant Cycle and Deadline Information:
The Foundation’s Trustees meet annually in the fall. August 31 is the deadline for submitting grant proposals to be considered at the fall meeting.
Grant Range:
The average grant size is between $2,500 – $10,000
