About the Foundation
The C. Warren Barry Foundation was established in the late 1970s. It was the desire of Mr. Barry that the foundation be used exclusively to further the cause of charity, education and religion.
Guidelines
Geographic Focus:
The C. Warren Barry Foundation has generally restricted its funding to organizations located in, operating in or supporting residents from Lake County, Florida.

- Program
- General Operating
- Scholarships
Restrictions:
No grants are made for capital improvements.
Eligibility Requirements:
The Trustees will consider all qualified applications received from organizations that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). If you are a 509 (a)(3) Supporting Organization, please be prepared to provide additional information.
Grant Cycle and Deadline Information:
The Foundation’s Trustees meet annually in June. May 1st is the deadline for submitting grant proposals to be considered at the annual meeting.
Grant Range:
The average grant size is between $1,000 – $2,500.
