The J. Richard and Sybel F. Hayworth Foundation is a charitable private foundation established in December 1991. The mission of The Hayworth Foundation is to make charitable contributions to publicly-supported, charitable organizations qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Hayworth Foundation supports general charitable activities with a particular focus on the following:

The Hayworth Foundation focuses its giving in the state of North Carolina, with particular emphasis on the High Point, North Carolina area.
The Foundation prefers to fund, in order of importance to the Foundation:
The Hayworth Foundation only awards grants to organizations in North Carolina and only to qualified non-profit organizations with current 501(c)(3) status.
The Foundation will consider all qualified applications received from organizations that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). If you are a 509 (a)(3) Supporting Organization, please be prepared to provide additional information. Grants are not made to support individuals.
Applications must be received by October 15th. Organizations selected to receive funding will typically be notified in late November/early December.
Recipients of grants are expected to submit a final report on the expenditure of the funds and an evaluation of the project. These final reports are also due on October 15th.
The average grant size is between $5,000 – $25,000.
